Femina National Council

ADOR COPIII Association was invited to attend the conference held on March 21 by the Femina National Council at the Regional Business Center, Timisoara.

The conference was moderated by Melanie Medeleanu and some of the speakers were Adela Dinu, CEO of The Association for the Promotion of Women in Romania (APFR) Gheorghe Teodorescu, (director of The Romanian Institute of Marketing and Public Opinion), Reghina Dascăl (Professor at West University of Timisoara) and Delia Panait (vice-president of FRONT Association).

"Over 8% of the women who have decided to have a child have lost their jobs in Romania," said Adela Dinu, CEO of The Association for the Promotion of Women in Romania.

Topics of great interest for the community of adoptive families were raised during the discussions on the equality of chances in the adoption process for single mothers and equality of chances and right to maternity leave for mothers who have adopted children with an age greater than 2. Ador Copiii Association was represented at the event by Laura Jacan, vice-president of our organization.

Ador Copiii organization

Established in 2004, Ador Copiii organization is an non-governmental association which managed to accumulate extensive experience in the field of domestic adoption and received accreditation to offer services in this domain. Our organization also develops projects regarding the social protection of abandoned children and a few concerning the prevention of abandonement.Our mission is to raise awareness on the fact that each child has the right to have a family, no matter his ethnics, religion, age or health state.


Our work
Day by day, Ador Copiii organization pays its best efforts to improve the lives of abandoned children and help adoptive families smoothly accommodate their newest members in their daily routine. In order to do these, the association was accredited by the Romanian Office for Adoptions to offer services in the domain of domestic adoptions.
